    BFIM Gazette: Mia Love Wins Mayor's Race in Saratoga Springs, Utah--CONGRATS!

    I am thrilled to feature this story as the first official article of the Black Female Interracial Marriage Gazette. (BFIM Gazette) THANKS, Lorraine!

    "Saratoga Springs, Utah made history Tuesday night, becoming the first Utah city to elect a black woman as mayor.  Councilwoman Mia Love Mia Love-Mayor of Saratoga Springs Utah defeated challenger Jeff Francom in the contest to replace outgoing Mayor Timothy Parker.  "I am absolutely honored," Love said. "I am so excited."

    Mia Love, Mayor-Elect of Saratoga Springs, Utah Mia and Jeff Love kissing husband, Jeff Love (She and he have 3 children.)

    Thanks, Felicia for this second article detailing what life is like for blacks who live--as a small minority in Utah. Still, this bw won the mayor's position.
