While I'm working on those podcasts--if I ever get around to finishing them--LOL!--I'll post some pics and clips here at the Gazette.
Thanks, Felicia for the pic of this American family featuring a Black- American mother and an Irish-English dad. And yes, from reading about this family, the sons are quite successful since they come from a family where BOTH parents were involved and committed to shaping them to be successful, productive adults. From reading about this family, two of these sons are already married and have children.
This is why I, too, made it a point to not only choose a loving and loveable man for a mate and father for my children, but one who had a very high probability of involving and investing himself totally and completely emotionally and in every other way in his children. Some men can do this and others CANNOT or there's a very low probability of them doing it. DUH! For me, it was never difficult to figure out who this type of man IS and who he is NOT.
Bw, stop fooling yourselves. You DO know that a lot of the men/males you're encountering are NOT WORTH DIDDLY. IF you want to gamble, go to the casino. Do NOT gamble with your children's lives!! And thanks CG for these clips of Gabrielle Union and John Cho from the TV series "FLASH FORWARD." She's not only beautiful, but she's a very talented actress. The character that John Cho plays is also my type of guy--perceptive, tender, caring, introspective, etc. Not only is he a virile hunk, but he's my type of hunk--on the lean side. I've never been attracted to big, hulky guys. Although my ex-husband was over 6 feet and an Alpha man, I didn't hold his size against him because he had those inner qualities. Plus he is super brainy and that combo makes my head spin. LOL! Darren is my preferred type--tender, perceptive, virile, and he's also super-brainy. Umph-umph-umph!
