CH, thanks for yet another LINK to an IR couple/family in this YouTube–Amazon ECHO ad. I had no idea there were so many of these ads/images on the internet until you began sending them to me. Some people think this is all about social engineering, but the big companies who bankroll these ads are, of course, motivated strictly by their bottom line. So we know they’ve recognized that these commercials boost their bottom line. At the same time, they’re increasing options for Black American women (BAW). Yay! BWIRs are good for business. Now go out and buy an Echo. LOL Nope–just kidding.
I’m going to cite the 3 key solutions for Black American Women (BAW) to get out of the social and soon-to-be physical quicksand that many are in but don’t know it. These solutions are for those women who’ve made the decision already to do that and have the strong drive to do it, but may not be sure of what are the most effective solutions. To be clear, these solutions are not for those fence-sitting, foot-dragging BAW, or any of the other ostrich-like Black women who’ve buried their heads in the sand.
First, let me say a few things about “mixing” with others or bio-diversity.
Anyone who has knowledge of the genetics of biodiversity knows that people, for ex., who are mixed (not talking about only biracials or only racial mixing) are potentially better equipped and more resistant in certain environments (physically, mentally, etc.) to a variety of diseases/afflictions/setbacks than people from strictly mono groups. Socially, culturally, intellectually, etc., we become much broader when we mingle/reproduce with those in other groups because we’re then drawing from different knowledge and skill streams, genetic abilities, etc. Not only has this been proven by the sciences, but there is SO much obvious proof of this all around us in every realm of life, everyday. More aware people know that mixing in certain ways is valuable. So, if given the chance, even the most hateful people (if at all intelligent) would siphon off the best genes (those that produce better health, talent, strength, resilience, fluidity, intelligence, etc.) possible from others they say they hate. This is because surviving and thriving are almost always primarily based on certain interior, non-obvious traits.
I’m focusing here on just some of the advantages of intermingling and cross-group reproduction. If a mixture of seeds are thrown onto even the most unfertile soil, there’s almost a 100% chance that some of them will sprout, but if the same amount of mono seeds are thrown on the same soil, the probability is that fewer will sprout or they may all rot. This shows that some seeds are going to survive in any environment but we can’t be sure which of them might. Therefore, it’s better to plant a mixture. Diversity.
Bio-diversity increases the chance of survival and success in many cases, and this is rarely ever based on a seed’s appearance. Survival and thriving are almost entirely based on interior characteristics.
While there are entire curriculums at many highly reputed colleges and universities on the science of biodiversity and the overwhelming benefits of diversity in the plant and non-human animal realms, the curriculums teaching these benefits are virtually non-existent when it comes to the positives of biodiversity among human beings. I doubt there are any TED talks extolling the virtues of biodiversity when it comes to blacks and whites reproducing with each other. Lol Not any time soon. My point here is that if all things are close to equal, the offspring of racially or ethnically diverse parents can usually outcompete those of same-group parents, in more environments than not.
Based on what I’ve read, this may apply the least to Sub-Saharan Africans or not in the same way since they tend to already have the broadest gene pool. All other groups are a derivative of them.
I continue to urge Black American Women (BAW) to equip themselves to intermingle with and marry the most quality men available and do so across all racial and ethnic lines.
Quality is the most significant criteria because quality traits in a person last over time. NOTHING else! All of the other surface criteria I hear and read some BAW talking about are pure fluff.
SOLUTIONS: (1) More BAW must marry out/choose quality significant others from out-groups as well as (2) form, support, and join Intentional Communities (IC) and/or organizations that place a high priority on combining various resources and supporting the key interests of BAW and similar others who support us, and (3) separate mentally, and if possible physically from other blacks who won’t support these solutions. I’ve been stressing these solutions from my earliest blogs back in 2006. At the very least, BAW should see the vast majority of other blacks as of NO Value or Minimal Value and NEVER support them because they’re not doing anything tangible to uplift BAW. Cut them loose. But don’t broadcast this. Just DO it. Stop telling everybody what you’re going to do. Just DO it. Don’t waste time and energy arguing with others. Wish them well and let them go their own way.
If you’re not well-married or well-mated already and you don’t stretch yourself to do these 3 things, you’re going to be very sorry in the very near future because the financial situation in the U.S. is on very shaky ground for most people. Fumbling, stumbling, and diddling around will kill you these days.
Remember, any BAW can derive numerous benefits from belonging to an intentional community of the type I’m describing–no matter who her husband is or whether she’s even married or even dates. BAW need their own well-functioning tribe and the closest we can get to that is to create, support, and join intentional communities and effective organizations that make it an utmost priority to represent our variety of needs and interests.
Each BAW or similar black woman reading this can set an example for your daughters, granddaughters and other black girls. Otherwise, as a group, BAW will continue to wither. The younger women will definitely be on their knees, and that’s a definite. Just think of #MeToo. The women in Hollywood were not even black and that’s where many of them were. There is no other way for BAW, and this is why I’ve been blogging this same message since 2006. If more BAW don’t make these solutions a priority, they will become known as the women “on their backs and knees,” and that’s putting it delicately. I’m not going to spell it out to you what BAW will be doing on their backs and knees. No one is going to listen to black women who say #MeToo. Other women are digging themselves away right now from that plight, and they can and will form, join, and support each other in whatever they need to do. If more BAW don’t get completely serious about this and do something very similar, they are–as a group–doomed and we need to stop mincing words about it.
I do NOT want anyone mincing words with my granddaughters and others in my lineage about this. I’m doing all I can offline and online to make sure this doesn’t become their fate, and I’m prepared to do whatever it takes.
Black American women must do whatever we need to do to change this downward trajectory for black American females because no one else will.
So, from now on, I’ll be focusing on mainly these 3 solutions because these are workable and would elevate BAW’s status greatly if even only 35% of the group did this. It’s these solutions that are the basis for my reality fiction BUTTERFLITIA Intentional Community series that I have resumed writing.
