MICOMSA’s Success! RUCOSS is Critically Needed. Butterflitia Marches On

MoulsonIRpic1Thanks for this YT LINK, Lorraine that normalizes black women taking advantage of their options to be chosen by or to mingle and mate with who they feel is best for them. For me, this is so normal, but maybe that’s because I was married to, lived, and raised children with a man from another vastly different culture in his country and in his cultural milieu in this country for 25 years.

So, to me, it’s just weird that some people still struggle internally when they see black women with [Read more…]

Thanks, Felicia for sending these links!

Channing Dungey and  Husband, Scott Power (Brand Strategist, Producer, Entrepreneur, Explorer, Ironman Triathlete, Author, Philanthropist)

Channing Dungey-Scott Power I‘m wishing Ms. Dungey uncanny wisdom and skill in the overseeing, production, and selection of scads of positive and popular content for ABC Entertainment along with the crucial accompaniment of the high ratings for those shows containing the positive content that many people clamor for and claim to want. LOL!

However, not only did Channing Dungey marry on the IR Slice, but so did her sister.

“When they were little, Channing Dungey and her sister Merrin would scour the fall preview issue of TV Guide to plan the shows they wanted to watch for the season. Dungey would make a grid of favorites to help her negotiate with her sister and parents for time slots.”

KWELI TV–YAY! The Valentine Day Ritual, Another BWIR Normalizing Video

Cadbury ad picThanks, Lorraine for the link to this video about chocolates that also normalizes BWIR relationships. It certainly made me think about Valentine’s Day and Darren in the same thought because–he’s such a chocolate FIEND!  I always get him his favorite Godiva chocolates 3 times each year, starting with Valentine’s Day. I also get them for his birthday and for a holiday gift in December.  Each time I give them to him, his whiskey brown eyes light up and dance.  He loves Godiva chocolates ONLY, so nothing else will suffice. Sorry, Cadbury. Lol

I remember once,  I didn’t feel like driving 15 miles to the mall to get Godivas, so I picked up another brand of chocolates from the nearby CVS. OMG–he [Read more…]

New Mommy Tyra Banks! The Gritty Slice & Nuances of “I Want a Man on My Level” & Other Wordings

Tyra and ErikI was thrilled to read this morning that Tyra Banks and her long-term boyfriend, Erik Asla (Norwegian photographer) are the new parents of a baby boy via a surrogate mother!! ARTICLE  I was sad for Tyra last year when I read that she so passionately wanted to have children but was unable to conceive. At 41 then, her biological clock was taking its last gasps. She was undergoing the IVF treatments that she described as ‘traumatic.’

Well, this is an example of how money CAN actually buy life. LOL!  Women with her resources can pay another woman to carry their fertilized egg. But hey, being a surrogate mom has become a lucrative new profession for some women. This is a win-win situation. This is a profession that even some older women can engage in because under the right circumstances, a healthy enough older woman (I’ve read of a few cases of women in their sixties doing this!!) can carry a fertilized egg and birth the child of a younger woman whose body is impaired in some way.  I tell ya: A woman’s body is a magnificent creation! LOL!

As a marriage advocate, [Read more…]
